Position Overview:
Sasria SOC Ltd is offering a graduate internship for two candidates in their Risk Intelligence team. The role focuses on enhancing decision-making processes through in-depth data analysis and predictive modeling. Interns will gain valuable experience working on key areas such as data analysis, risk intelligence, and terror/unrest intelligence, while contributing to the development of business intelligence dashboards and conducting research into special risk solutions for the government and Sasria clients.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications:

  • A BSc or BCom degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, IT, Computer and Information Science, or an equivalent field.
  • A postgraduate degree is advantageous.

Experience:

  • No prior experience is required.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis:
    • Analyze claims and underwriting data.
    • Conduct risk exposure analysis via the Data Acquisition Project.
    • Perform industry data analysis and benchmarking to local and international insurers and reinsurers.
    • Monitor and align industry developments with the company’s strategic objectives.
    • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis as required.
  2. Risk Intelligence & Dashboards:
    • Develop, maintain, and automate business intelligence dashboards for internal use.
  3. Terror and Unrest Intelligence:
    • Conduct research into terrorism risks, including political, non-political, and labor unrest.
  4. Research on Solutions:
    • Assist in identifying special risk and insurance solutions for the government and Sasria clients.
